Discipline Policy

Consequences of Violation of Rules in Health and Physical Education

1. Student will be reminded of the rule that was broken.

2. Student will again be reminded of the rule that was broken and warned if violation occurs again they will be given a “Time Out.”

3. Student will be removed from the activity if the violation warrants such action to maintain classroom organization and/or safety of student/peers. Student may return from “Time Out” after the review and discussion of violation.

4. PE teacher will discuss behavior with homeroom teacher and/or principal and discuss consequences. The North Star School District Elementary Discipline Matrix will be followed.
