4th Grade Science!!
In science class this week we will be learning about the steps of the scientific method.
1. State the problem or ask a question.
2. Gather background information.
3. Form a hypothesis.
4. Perform and design an experiment.
5. Draw a conclusion.
6. Report the results.
We then will talk about how to design a fair experiment. Students will learn what a controlled experiment is. We will also talk about independent and dependent variables.
Welcome to Science Class!
In Science class we have been learning about the different forms of energy. We are going to be learning about the properties and characteristics of sound and light energy this week. We also will learning about how energy is not created nor destroyed, but rather transferred and transformed into other forms of energy. We will be looking at many different real life examples of how energy transforms into other forms of energy.
