2023- 2024 Math Goals

It is my goal this year in math to increase each student’s fluency with basic math facts. Additionally, it is my goal to increase each student’s knowledge of mathematics in each of the content areas of math. These areas consist of: Numbers and Operations, Algebra, Geometry, Measurement, and Data Analysis and Probability. Throughout the year I will promote my students to work together collaboratively to use problem solving to develop their knowledge in these areas. I will allow the students to use various forms of representation and models to express their thoughts about mathematics and encourage the students to make real-life connections to math in the classroom. Finally, it is crucial to have a strong line of communication between home and school. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns.
