Welcome- I'm SO glad you are here!!

I am your students first grade reading teacher. Although this is my first year teaching at North Star, I have been apart of the North Star community all my life. I was a Lil Cougar myself and plan to raise my children as Lil Cougars as well! I play many roles in our community, I am a teacher, coach, friend, and most importantly a mother! My husband Mike and I live in the North Star School District with our two dogs and our beautiful baby girl, Quinnlee. I graduated with my Bachelors of Science in Early Childhood Education from UPJ in 2020. I then continued on to receive my Masters of Education in Literacy with a reading specialist certification in 2022. My favorite things include spending time with my family, cleaning, reading thriller books, and of course walking through TJ Maxx. 

 

I strive to create a warm, welcoming, and nourishing classroom environment! Your child spends 8 hours a day, 5 days a week with me, so it is very important to me that they feel safe, loved, and important!
