Grading Policy

Daily grade is based on the following:

1. Prepared for class – appropriate clothing, attire, and tennis shoes.

2. Listens and follows directions with accordance to rules and expectations.

3. Demonstrates appropriate behavior and physical skills.

4. Actively participates in classroom activities.

5. Students will earn 5 points per day. A point will be deducted for each objective not met during class with the exception of not wearing shoes. A student will lose up to 3 points for not wearing shoes depending on how many times they have forgot in a nine week grade period. Students may have to complete an alternate health assignment. If a student chooses not to complete the health assignment, he or she will lose all 5 points for the day.

Grading Scale

O – Outstanding: 92%-100%

S – Satisfactory: 70%-91%

N – Needs Improvement: 69% or Below
